Objectives

• To assist clients, if feasible, to return to their pre-disability level of functioning.
• To prevent any relapse in a client’s physical or psychological status during the vocational
  rehabilitation process.
• To provide a comprehensive initial vocational rehabilitation assessment with solid recommendations.
• To ensure effective communication with clients, healthcare professionals, employers and all other persons involved in the file to facilitate the development and implementation of appropriate vocational rehabilitation plans for each client.
• To closely monitor the vocational rehabilitation process to ensure a successful outcome.
• To empower the client to take responsibility for his/her recovery and encourage independence in their daily activities of living.
• To adhere to professional and ethical standards of practise while maintaining the client’s right to confidentiality at all times.
